Longhougton Goods Yard - BS, DMS, KM, TS, MH, IC, TBA, As the electrical bits for the PCTs hadn’t arrived it was not felt worth working on the electrics on DX 98707. The Kango genny was started after some effort to warm up the air input so the 4 way extension / TAWS device was plugged in – the siren sounded as expected, and ceased when the button was pressed (note: stop/start relates to work and not the siren which is why it seems to be the wrong way round). The 110V output was tested and the Kango hammers were tested too. Some of the tarps/covers for the mark 2s modified to keep them in place. Wrapped the day up with a general tidy up.

Dave and Mark had a look at the electrics on DX 98707 and we have progressed a little bit further. Dave and Mark then went to collect the Kango genny and hammers. The genny has been started and runs fine. Baz and Ian lifted in two 30ft BH rails to extend road 1. Baz, Dave and Ian then keyed up these rails. Kay spent the day fitting more flooring to the mark 2s.At around 14:15 it was declared “Rain stops play” and we packed up for the day.
